English Patch (Retail – Original Version) English Patch (Downloadable Version)
The downloadable version of Noble☆Works can be obtained through DMM. If the DMM website doesn’t work for you, try using a different Internet browser.

Im sorry but i Kinda need help… where can I find the main gaming folder? I download both and I cant seem to find the game folder
The main game folder is the same folder where the nobleworks.exe and all the other .xp3 files are located. For example, C:\Yuzusoft\のーぶる☆わーくす

Where can I find it? I mean after I downloaded it, it was all in my main desktop… (sorry I’m like new)
In the new maintenance patch update, do I need to use “patch_any_to_v1.02.exe” again?, or do I only need to copy the new “patch3.xp3” into the main game folder?
The latter. If you’ve already installed patch_any_to_v1.02.exe, then you don’t need to again.
I’ve purchased from DMM and believe I’ve managed to install the game, but after putting patch3.xp3 into the main game folder I try to run it and get this message which prompted me to install this sdrt5030.exe, after doing that and restarting it still prompts me to do that
You need to make sure you have soft-denchi up and running before attempting to start Noble Works. Usually after you install and run it, it will prompt you to log in in order to authorize your use of the game.
Also, patch3.xp3 is not what you want since your playing the downloadable version of the game. You’ll want to download the other patch, which will have patch.xp3 instead.
Sorry my mistake I am actually using patch.xp3, I’ve got soft-denchi up and running but it’s not prompted me to log in, I’ve clicked around and got something to pop up to login to the member’s site which I’m guessing is the log in you mentioned – just wondering what I put in exactly?
I’ve tried my email and password for DMM but it’s giving me ‘Fail to login.’ (11802), is there a different login I should have for this?
The login should be the same e-mail and password you use for DMM.
Hmm, have been trying that for a while and even changed the password and still hasn’t worked..
At least for my retail version, the patch misses translating the choice on 9/12. That’s one of the “dead end” choices; I know enough to figure out which is correct but others might not. Does anyone else have this issue?
We’ve tried downloading the patch again and looking at that in-game, and the choice is still in English. I don’t know what could account for that choice being in Japanese while everything else is in English, and we’ve never witnessed this error from anybody else, so let us hope that what few might encounter it shall not make the wrong choice and subsequently ragequit.
Hello guys, first of all great work! I loved Noble☆Works! I am interested in translating a game myself but i have run into some problems. I can’t extract the files from the .xp3 file. I am using kirikiri2 but i also tried some other tools too. If you don’t mind telling me what tools you guys used? Maybe if i reverse engineer your patch will help me somehow to better understand the procedure.
I think there is no need to extract the .xp3 file, just copy it to the main game folder
Hi guys!Anyone knows how can i contact the developers?I want to ask for permission to play these games on youtube
Need some help here, downloaded the game and put the patch file into the game folder but the game is still in japanese
I’ll assume you’re talking about Noble☆Works.
-Did you download the right patch? You use “English Patch (Downloadable Version)” for the version you purchase online (likely through DMM) and download. You use “English Patch (Retail – Original Version)” for the other, earlier version.
-Did you extract the patch from the .zip folder? It’s “patch.xp3” for the downloadable version and “patch3.xp3” for the retail version.
-Did you put it in the right directory? For example, in the downloadable version, there’s both the main folder, which I myself named “Noble Works” (I don’t know what it was before that) containing the startup.exe file and whatnot, and then another folder within it titled “のーぶる☆わーくす,” containing technical files and whatnot, and I believe the situation is similar for the retail version. If you’re not sure which folder to put the patch in, you can just put it in both; it won’t break anything.
Yes sorry, it is for Noble Works. I think I put the patch in the wrong folder, i’ll try it again. Thanks for your time
Hey guys if you want to enable this game to work on any system locale not just Japanese then convert all the .ks,.tjs,.csv files to utf16-le Unicode there might be more file types you need to do this too but I don’t know what they are. Make sure all of the text is the same in the utf-16le file as it is in the shift-jis file make sure the system title doesn’t have this ★/☆ or similar character the game will still run but it will use the wrong character or blank it out. The game should still display these characters ★☆♪≪≫「」『』【】 even if you’re not in Japanese locale if you do this. You will also need to do something about the font to make it use the correct one when not in Japanese locale I figured out a way to do this but you wont have to do this if it has its own font/custom font.
e-mail me at:
and I’ll help explain in more detail and help if you will allow me
Thank you for reading this and have a wonderful day
Thank you for the suggestion. I’ve spoken to Keisuke concerning this, who, to summarize, said that it would be more trouble than it’s worth at this point to alter Noble☆Works in this manner. However, it remains a possibility that we would implement this for future games.
Ya I hear ya would definitely require some work. If you guys want I could try and do it myself but it’s your call I understand either way. Glad you’re aware of it, for some reason this subject is not talked about much. The biggest reason I started doing this is because if I upgraded to Windows 10 and didn’t want to use Japanese locale well good luck to figuring that out, seems Applocale doesn’t work on Windows 10 at the moment that may change though.
Hiya, When I play the game during common route, I find that at the very beginning, if you picked “I guess she’s average….” and then decided to “Report on what has happened until now”, half way through the dialogue where Takumi asked Akari about modelling a weird choice pops up in Japanese and take me to a different route, was that meant to happen?
The original Yuzusoft patch presumably hasn’t been applied. You must run patch_any_to_v1.02.exe, which is included in our .7zip of the retail version of the game.
After I put patch.xp3 into my main game folder, this error message pops up when I try to open the game through dracuriot.exe
Oddly, the game works w/o adding patch.xp3. I’ve tried both retail and download editions of the english patch too.
Is there something i’m doing wrong??
Have you tried setting your system locale to Japanese? Here’s one guide (among many others you can find through Google) to do so: http://oldsite.fuwanovel.net/faq/setting-windows-to-japanese-locale
I have the same issue as Taskete for Noble Works. I’ve changed locale to Japanese and isntalled the Japanese Supplemental Fonts. Any help would be appareciated.
Try deleting the savedata folder config file may be corrupted. You can also try double checking the file/install path and folder names making sure they don’t have any weird symbols/characters. That can happen if you install game while not using Japanese system locale.
I’m glad you guys decided to finish this. I’ve waited for so long until I discovered it was finally translated long ago! Thank you so much. By the way, is the Dracu-riot Full English patch available? or are you guys not yet finished in translating that? I’ve seen the Noble Works but not the Dracu-riot.
when i copy patch.xp3 into main folder
i have some problem about ansi unicode
so i change locate to japanese
but it have another problem
it show me a task information: DRACU-RIOT and after this word is some word of japanese that i can’t understand it
can you help me?
~sorry for my poor english~
i have same error with the guy name Taskete above
ok ,sorry,my mistake ,i thought this patch is of dracu-riot
@Fiddle Hello there, I’d like to contact you guys related to this game’s translation, if possible, can you give me an e-mail?
I mean Dracu Riot
Do I need to download both of these files before I have the chance to start playing the game?
Which files? If you’re referring to Noble☆Works, you only need to click one of the two red buttons above, depending on which version of the game you have.
If you have the retail version, you first need to install patch_any_to_v1.02.exe (which should be included in the above download) before inserting patch3.xp3. This preliminary step is not necessary for the downloadable version.
I downloaded Noble Works from DMM, however I can’t get it to install because of a NSIS Error. Do you have any recommendations on how to resolve this.
Thanks for your Time.
It is likely your downloaded files are corrupted. Try re-downloading and let us know if that solves your issue.
I encountered this error after installing the game and applying the patch
Situation: The game works in Japanese without the patch, but error occurs upon applying patch
Solution: Applied ‘patch any_to_v1.02.exe’ and also renamed “patch3.xp3” to “patch.xp3”, able to view the game in English now
Hey, I want to translate Noble Works to my language.
I saw in older comments that .sdb you use DBrowser, and I saw the scenedata and such.
But, when I try to open the scenepatch, asks a key SQLCipher.
Can u pass me the key~?
A script editing tool for Noble Works has been added to our list of downloads. Please download and use it to aid you in your translation.
Thank you, that will help me a lot!
But I have a question.
I edit some lines (< just that) and build database without errors. After that, I make the .xp3
When I put in the game folder, the language stills japanese.
So, I have to translate all the text from script to works?
Are you using the retail version or the DMM (downloadable) version of Noble Works? If you’re using the retail version, make sure you’ve installed the other patches for the game (patch.xp3 and patch2.xp3). If you’re using the DMM version, I’ll have to modify the tool to take that into account.
Hi, I’m actually translating Noble Works to my native language and I’m about to finish the proyect. This is all thanks to you guys.
Now, I would like to know if there is a possibility to access to the tools you were using it to translate Dracu Riot.
This last one is a game a I like very much, but since all the files inside the xp3 files are encypted, I can’t translate it.
Whaterver your reply may be, thanks anyway for the translations.
So i keep getting a japanese information window when applying the patch when i click “dracuriot.exe” and when i click “nobleworks.exe” i end up with “authentication failed : invalid signature token it unrecognized kirikiri core. /cs” and im not sure what to do, can anyone help? Ive tried both patches on a clean installation each and both cause the japanese error window, also the only english words in it are “ANSI” and “UNICODE”
Someone here had a similar issue: https://forums.fuwanovel.net/topic/7712-solved-dracu-riot-doest-start-kiri-kiri-problem/
Based on the information in the link above, try replacing the files in Dracu-Riot’s “plugin” folder with the files from here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/7j74mvqj0x56zuj/AACblvYEbuXypJkVX16Zgumaa?dl=0
is there an uncensored patch? or non mosaic patch
No, not for either game.
Hi, thanks to your instructions I managed to make a test patch for noble works, but there is one problem, my language has some unique letters that the font game uses doesn’t have, is there a way to change the font? Also is there a possibility to get to the images like ui and menus?
I don’t think they answer you. But I can help you. Write to my mail: email@example.com
Why the Nurse patch does not work?
Nurse patch link, I mean.
I had to take it down for reasons that will be explained at a later time.
I forgot to get rid of the link on this page; my bad, and thanks for notifying me.
