You know that they cant answer where you can download the game in an illegal way.
You can search in google after it or search in internet after information, but asking it here is a bad idea 😀

2 questions. First, does this patch include the uncensored pics? Second, the progress says you have a lot done but only the common path is here, where would I get the other paths?

    • Keisuke says:

      1. The current and final patch will not include any uncensored pictures.
      2. We have only released one patch so far and that is for the common route. We intend to only release one more patch once the translation has been completed for all the routes.

when gonna come out full translated patch?

    • Fiddle says:

Naturally, a specific date is undecided, for if it were, then we would make it known.

However, we have some vague ideas of our future progress. Translation has been going at a fairly constant rate recently, so it can be said with some degree of confidence that the translation aspect of the project will be done in only a few months. Before we can release it, however, we will need to put the game through some intensive proofreading and testing, and many factors affect the speed with which that will be completed, but it shouldn’t take an absurd amount of time longer than when the translation is done, so fear not.

Wasn’t there a patch that allowed you to play through the Akari route? This version however was rick rolled, has this release been removed or am I creating memories due to denial?

      Like

      • Fiddle says:

No patch has been released containing the translation of anything beyond the common route. You can still play all the other routes routes, but they’ll be in Japanese.
Indeed you are not suffering the mental lapses with which I’m so acquainted, for the April Fools’ patch did and does exist. At the time, I believe we said that it translates Akari’s route for jocose purposes, but of course, it doesn’t actually change anything except those few jokes, so Akari’s route is still as Japanese balderdash as ever. Anyone can still download it for fun, though: http://www.mediafire.com/download/6yrle3n7sgw06s8/nw_partial.7z

EDIT: This comment is now outdated, for the full patch has been released.

Do I need to download the original Japanese version first?

      Like

    • Keisuke says:

You need the original game installed on your computer. Then you must install the 1.02 patch (which will copy patch.xp3 and patch2.xp3 to your main game folder). Then you download our patch (patch3.xp3) and copy that into the same folder.

You should try to run the game first without any patches just to see if it can run on your computer. If it can’t, you can generally remedy this issue by setting your system locale to Japanese, as mentioned above under the “Troubleshooting” section.

I installed the 1.02 patch and copied over the patch3.xp3 into the game directory, and the common route is patched, but each specific route goes straight to Japanese after the dance. All 3 patch files are in the directory.

    Like

    • Fiddle says:

The text is supposed to become Japanese after the dance, which is where the common route ends; only the common route is patched currently. I should mention that the 1.02 patch only serves to manage some technical stuff, not anything having to do with translation.

As we’ve stated elsewhere, progress is undoubtedly going. The progress of this project consists of both translation and proofreading/checking/whatevs, and the latter is not displayed on the progress page, so despite the fact that we’ve been doing plenty of it recently, it unfortunately isn’t seen (or highlighted in VNTLSes). Rest assured that thanks to this invisible progress, the time you will have to wait between the completion of translation and the actual release will be considerably shorter.

My penis and those of many have declared that this game shall be translated, and I would sooner explore the depths of Hell than fail this task.

My only issue with this translation so far is that I’ve never heard the phrase “averagely good” before, and I don’t know anyone who would take it as a compliment. I understand what you’re trying to convey though, so it’s not a huge issue. Other than that it feels very natural and solid.

    Like

    • Fiddle says:

I hope I don’t seem overly defensive, but concerning that scene, the phrase “averagely good” is meant to be peculiar in context. The protagonist sizes up his expectations of the food, and finds that it isn’t quite what he hoped for, but isn’t bad either. That Sena takes it as a compliment is indicative of her self-awareness in this regard.
The situation is reminiscent of: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tk1dd1D2Kts

That aside, thank you for reading!

      Like

      • Ketsui says:

Not at all; I realize now that since the scene is an introduction to Sena’s defining characteristic, it might be more important to clearly convey that than to use familiar phrasing.

        Like

      • Fiddle says:

Are you sure you have it in the right folder? The patch should be in the folder with all those other technical files, like “bgimage.xp3” and “main.xp3” and all that shizzle, not the folder that contains that folder.

Also, bear in mind that the folder to be downloaded above is zipped, meaning that you have to extract it (to open up the patch and the translation notes). Then you copy the patch file, patch3.xp3, into your Noble☆Works folder. If extracting it is a problem for whatever reason, I’ve uploaded a version with just the patch (no translation notes) here, but I’m not very good with this Mediafire stuff, so I hope I haven’t screwed something up.

If all that doesn’t work, try setting your system locale to Japanese.

As one might observe, Keisuke normally handles technical inquiries, but he will be absent for a short time.

I figured out what happend, I took the original folder and puit it to my desk top so when I downloaded the “Official 1.02 patch” it made a new game folder where the one I put on my destop should have been so the patch didn’t go into the one I was trying to use. I couldn’t use the new folder because it didn’t have all the files in it XD

When I go to install the game the installer is all in un-recognised characters and navigating through that leads to the progress bar freezing and thus not installing the game. I’ve set up the locale so I’m really at a loss on what to do, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I’d love to play this game.

Either it cannot find data.xp3, or your data.xp3 file is corrupted. Also make sure your system locale is set to Japanese as stated above. Take a screenshot, if possible. Since we don’t know the specifics of your issue, there’s only so much we can do.

Many thanks por the patch. I saw this game time ago and I like it, but I didn’t know anything about this translations project. Thanks. By the way, I’m a spanish translator of many visual novels (like the saga of Sono Hanabira), and I would like to translate this game too. Sadly, I never see a file .sdb in the kirikiri engine (I suppose the scripts are there). Do you use a common tool, o do you have to make your own to decrypt that file? I hope you don’t mind that I ask that here, since I don’t find any contact info.

A .sdb file is a SQLite database file, which can be viewed and modified using any kind of SQLite database browser tool, like this one: http://sqlitebrowser.org/

I tried the databes browser you suggested, but it didn’t work. I can’t open neither the ingles files or the japanese files .sdb. I also tried the sqlite3 line command tool with the same result. And I tried anothers database browsers with no results. Did you use the SQLite database browser to open the .sdb files?

      • Keisuke says:

I use “DB Browser for SQLite”, which is the one I linked to you. Just run it and click “Open Database” and then set the filter from “SQL database files” to “All files”, and then find and double-click “scenedata.sdb” or “scene.sdb” to open/view the file contents.

    anyway, thanks for the hardworks

    Like

    • Fiddle says:

The only explanation I can conceive of for that the text would become Japanese only upon entering Sena’s route is that you have the common route patch downloaded for whatever reason. Try downloading the English Patch above and make sure that it replaces whatever patch3.xp3 is currently in your Noble☆Works folder.

Translation: “Either cannot read system variable data, or system variable data is broken (there is the possibility that the file could be damaged, or that there was a failure in reading from the device)”

Looks like it cannot read your save file data (“datasc.ksd” and/or “datasu.ksd”). Typically, these are located under the “savedata” folder within the game’s main folder, depending on where you chose to store the save files during your game’s installation.

Translation: “Either cannot read system variable data, or system variable data is broken (damaged data: datasc.ksd)”

It looks like your save data is corrupted. The file “datasc.ksd” can be found in your “savedata” directory, usually located inside the main game folder.

Assuming I understand your question correctly, I will answer with a few facts:
-The original game (without the patch) has “mosaics” (the pixelation stuff) over genitals in h-scenes—there exists no version anywhere of the images without these mosaics.
-Thus, our patch keeps these images exactly the same as they are in the original.
-Our patch includes the h-scenes in their entirety, fully translated.
